wep:HSE provides a general consultancy service to Independent Lift Services, a UK-based company that designs, supplies and installs passenger and goods lifts. Acting as the client’s in-house health and safety manager, utilising an in-depth knowledge of the company and its work, wep:HSE provides support in the production of pre-qualification and tender documents, and also manages internal health, safety and environmental systems and processes, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
To strengthen tendering capabilities, wep:HSE has secured a number of accreditations with external bodies such as CHAS, SafeContractor, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) and the British Safety Council (BSC), and written several award submissions around key lift installation projects. On the back of these submissions, the client has won three BSC health and safety awards, and two ROSPA Gold awards.
wep:HSE also facilitates training for the client’s managers and supervisors, and has profiled all employees, supporting them through the Construction Skills Certification Scheme training so they obtain the correct CSCS card for their role on site.
